Lorenzo Pazzaglia — Cherry Ink

Vibe: Dark • boozy • juicy cherry • spicy • mysterious
Think black cherry soaked in rum and red wine, with an unusual ink accord, then a warm vanilla/tonka/amber-wood drydown. Definitely more nighttime and fall/winter than bright fresh cherry.

Gender: True unisex, though I’d call it slightly feminine-leaning at first because of the cherry/florals. The woods, spices, booze and amber make the drydown work very well on a man.

Longevity: 8–10+ hours is a reasonable expectation. Parfumo currently rates longevity 7.9/10 and sillage 7.4/10, so performance is one of its stronger points.

Notes:
Top: Cherry, black cherry, bergamot, black pepper, rum
Heart: Red wine, Damask rose, jasmine, lily-of-the-valley, mimosa, warm spices, ink, myrrh
Base: Vanilla, tonka bean, precious woods, patchouli, benzoin, amber, musk, oud

What does it smell like? It lives in the darker cherry family, but the red wine + ink combination keeps it from being another Lost Cherry-style scent. Community comparisons include Sospiro Maraschino and Simone Andreoli Vicebomb, although Cherry Ink has its own darker, boozier personality.
