RDZ Parfums Playa Crashboat is a unisex woody aquatic fragrance with a slight masculine lean. It opens with a blast of salty sea air, bergamot, and amber before introducing juicy mango, fresh ginger, and smooth woods. The drydown is musky, mossy, and slightly resinous, creating the feeling of spending the day at an upscale Caribbean beach and ending the evening by the water. It’s fresh, classy, and projects exceptionally well for an aquatic fragrance.

• Inspired by: Crash Boat Beach (Playa Crashboat) in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico—one of the island’s most famous beaches. The fragrance is meant to capture the salty ocean breeze, tropical fruit, warm sun, and driftwood atmosphere of the coastline. 

• Dupe info: Not a dupe or clone. It is an original RDZ creation by perfumer Daniel Josier. 

• Common comparisons: Enthusiasts say it has elements reminiscent of Bleu de Chanel and Green Irish Tweed because of its fresh woody structure, while others compare parts of the drydown to Mancera Instant Crush due to the amber, patchouli, moss, and musk combination.
